Bobs last adventure by Lizzy

Hi Lizzy here , I guess Bobs loyal followers will have noticed a rather long gap in my sisters blog posting , this has been due to my needing to learn to type.
Unfortunately Bob ever the one to push the boundaries as an ace stunt cat used up the last of her nine lives five weeks ago more than a kilometre from home in a spectacular attempt to break the bottom of the big valley to home speed record . This trek involved crossing a large paddock with fifty four Alpacas , a paddock with geese and ducks, followed by a road and 200 meters of mushy swamp. I don’t think I need to say which part of this journey proved the most hazardous and ultimately fatal .
After Chris found her we put her in the pet cemetery under our Red Oak tree with the other rather more long lived furry family members , Kate the Dog (15), Doris (16), Ethel (18) , Randell (19) and a couple of fish that didn’t make it when we rebuilt the fish pond.
We were all pretty crushed at the time but we are feeling better now.

Dear Lizzy,

I can not yet imagine life without Bob. It doesn't seem real somehow. She was so young, and brought so much joy and amusement to so many cats and people around the world. She meant so much to all of us and she will be greatly missed. Please know that even though Bob was often the center of attention we love you too. I'm glad you have learned to type, and I hope that you will keep us up to date on the happenings of your life.

With much love, scritches, & kitty treats,
Riker

Dear Chris and Reena,

Humans have generally failed to create words strong enough to express the sorrow of loosing a beloved part of your life. Please know that words also cannot express the depths of our sympathy for you. When we lost Tiba a few months ago, it was painful in spite of having watched her become gradually old and finally infirm. How much more to loose a cat suddenly, and in the prime of life.

With love and sympathy, and an extra treat or two for Lizzy,

The Ashton Family

Dear Lizzy,
Even though we didn't know you and Bob very long, we always looked forward to her updates about your family, so we hope that you fill her place and keep us entertained. It is always hard loosing a loved one, so our thought and tears are with you and your peoples. It was actually a year ago today that we lost our sister Chewy, so we understand how hard it can be. We love you!

Trevor, Shelby, and our people, Crystal
